On the latest episode of the Deliberation Sports Podcast Los Angeles-based David Vuong of BallerTV joined us to discuss West Coast hoops. We reviewed the NCAA April Live Evaluation Period highlighted by the Nike EYBL in Atlanta, Adidas Gauntlet in Dallas, and the Pangos Spring Live Event in Los Angeles which were three of a bevy of other high-level grassroots basketball tournaments hosted throughout the country. David gave us his assessment and NBA player comparison of RJ Hampton who had a huge weekend in Atlanta before reclassifying into the class of 2019. Among the players discussed were 2020 #1 & #2 prospects Evan Mobley & Jalen Green, Memphis signee James Wiseman, 2019 Duke commit Cassius Stanley, Greg Brown, Johnny Juzang among others. He also touched on the West Coast Elite AAU basketball program.
