What is your title or business name?: Valentina DesignsHow long have your been in business?: since 1990Tell us a little bit about the work you do: In my young twenties, I started my design career as a fashion designer in Italy. I designed my private collections and showed them at fashion markets and runways. I produced one-of-a-kind garments for high rollers clients. After almost 2 decades in the fashion industry, I moved to California and started a business in interior designing where I have been since then. How or why did you begin doing the work that you do?: I love style, I like things well-made, I love things with a character in any field, I love colors and I like beauty. I often talk about beauty and how to introduce it even in the small things we do every day. What kind of things do you assist your clients with?: After so many decades of being on the fields and a hands-on interior designer, dealing with labor and contractors, remodeling and construction, I decided to change my path. Now, I consult on beautifying a home or beautifying one's personal image by using colors suiting the personality, lifestyle, and desires of the clients. What SUPER TIP or piece of advice would you like to share with the world?: Being yourself without following frivolous, or moody trends is the only way to change the world and become a leader. She was awarded for her participation on the design concept for San Jose Little Italy Arch, unveiled March 27, 2015,Born in a family of artists, style surrounded her since the beginning of her life and determined her designing career. She loves to remodel homes creating the unusual, as well as styling personal images. Often people describe Valentina as “the colorist” as she loves to colors her clients’ world.
