Are you overwhelmed and stressed out about the coronavirus pandemic? The future is uncertain and that is affecting A LOT of people. People can't work. Businesses are forced to close. And a lot of us are faced staying inside our homes. Now, we're forced to find other ways of keeping in touch with friends and family. A Harvard University epidemiologist, Marc Lipsitch, had early projections of 40 to 70 percent of the world's population could get the coronavirus (COVID-19). Countries are needing to take stricter controls to fight the exponential curve by asking people to stay at home and practice social distancing. As the uncertainty rises, how we thrive and stay sane while managing all the fear, stress, and anxiety is a big question many of us face. In this podcast, I cover how to deal with handling powerful emotions, and at the same time preparing for the worst. Having a plan and being prepared isn't just for boy scouts or survivalists. It will help diminish the stress because you'll know what your plan of action is instead of being at the mercy of feeling out of control. Two important skills for building badass confidence are managing overwhelming emotions and having a risk mitigation strategy. Both of them, I cover in today's podcast: "Managing Coronavirus Outbreak Fear, Stress, & Anxiety (While Preparing for the Worst)." Please stay safe and remember self-care is going to be a prioritize in making the best out of our current situation. If you enjoyed this podcast, please subscribe!
