You may not think much when you hear the name UNC Charlotte. Even Coach Holly Clark admits she didn't when she was considered for the first-ever women's head golf coach back in 2015. But that has certainly changed. Coach Clark joined the UNC Charlotte coaching staff after 6 years as the assistant coach at Vanderbilt. Prior to that, she started the Carson Newman women's golf program. When the opportunity to build another program from scratch presented itself, Coach Clark and her husband headed to Charlotte and with that came a determination and confidence for not just building a program, but being one of the best.
