On episode 26, host Dave Cunning welcomes two guests -- first, Winnipeg Jets defenceman, Tyler Myers. After playing only eleven games and missing 71 in the 2016-17 NHL season due to injury, the former Calder Trophy Winner is primed to rebound from nagging core muscle, hip, and groin injuries that were surgically repaired and kept him out most of last year, and help Winnipeg return to the playoffs. Far more pertinent than mending his personal ailments though, was dealing with the complications of his son’s birth at the beginning of this year. Myers’ wife Michela, delivered their now seven-month old son Tristan in January via emergency C-section in January. He was born five weeks early, and without 80% of his blood as a result of a fetal maternal hemorrhage. Later, he would also suffer through a pulmonary hemorrhage, seizures, and a stroke. Hear Myers comment on the health of himself and his son, as well as the Jets' off-season acquistions, what it's like to play in front of Winnipeg fans, and more.  Later, Art Middleton of JetsNation.ca calls in to debrief Myers' comments, plus add his own predictions and prognostications on how Winnipeg's 2017-18 season will unfold, suggests what might happen if the Jets do not make the playoffs for a third straight year, and sets the Winnipeg hockey history timeline straight.
