Empathy according to Websters Dictionary is “the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.” Why is empathy so important in the parent child relationship? Empathy builds connection and where there is connection their confidence in the relationship and in the child. Why? Because they know that whatever they go through, they are not alone! In this episode we will take a closer look at what empathy truly is and how you can empathize with your child ultimately creating an environment for their confidence to grow.
