Bernadette Carroll determined that her passion was empowering women and girls to love themselves, to encourage one another, and to learn how to live their best lives now. Today we're talking about her powerful women's empowerment conference, how she manifested this passion of her's and leaves us thinking about our own visions for the future and impact on other's lives. Bernadette Carroll is founder and partner of HigherMark Consulting, a management consulting company, where she serves as a trusted advisor to prominent corporate and nonprofit organizations. She is a sought after speaker, writer, author, life coach and marketing guru. Bernadette brings 15+ years of multi-industry and consulting experience to her engagements, working with senior executives and leadership teams to enhance customer experiences. Throughout her career, she has delivered breakthrough marketing strategies and business transformation initiatives that have increased brand awareness and driven sales for businesses globally. She is an award-winning marketer, having received industry marketing awards and honors from Travelocity, Mizkan Foods and others for her work in building and promoting brands. Her experience includes leadership roles at top service and manufacturing companies, such as Anheuser Busch, Travelocity.com, Hotels.com, Democracy Federal Credit Union, Mizkan Foods and CARFAX. As a consultant, she has addressed a variety of strategic and operational issues for clients, including growth strategy, messaging, customer loyalty, and digital transformation. Bernadette has aligned her passion with her purpose—empowering women to love themselves and live their best lives now, through her platform, Your Life Matters TooTM (YLMT). YLMT is where Bernadette shares her story about the power of God's amazing love, and her full-circle approach to achieving happiness and well-being through the connection of mind, body and soul. Bernadette is also the founder and organizer of the life changing Power Up Women’s & Teens Conference, now in its fourth year. On this platform, Bernadette brings together mastermind speakers from across the nation, all with one goal in mind – empowering women and teens. Bernadette also believes in celebrating the lives and work of other women in and around the community. This act of gratitude is portrayed in her conference as she seeks to honor, recognize, and celebrate other women for their contribution to world. In 2016, Bernadette was nominated ChangeMaker at the United State of Women Summit at The White House. Bernadette is a loving wife, and mother of two amazing children. She is an active member of: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Psi Rho Omega Chapter in Loudoun County, Jack & Jill of America Inc., Northern Virginia Chapter, Business & Professional Women, Northern Virginia Chapter and The King’s Daughters Ministry in Bellwood, IL. She is also a member of Heritage Fellowship Church under the leadership of Pastor Tate. Bernadette is a life and wellness coach certified through the Cooper Institute.
