Following a 14-year Major League Baseball career, Frank Catalanotto settled down with his family in Long Island, New York and recently took over as head coach of the New York Institute of Technology, a Division II program. After winning just 13 games in 2018, the Bears finished the 2019 season with a 37-16 record, an East Regional title and appearance in the D-II College World Series. Frank talks about why the timing was right for him to take the position and what helped turn the NYIT program around so quickly including the importance of a positive team culture. He also discusses why he loves his role with Baseball Heaven and being a part of the Steel Sports advisory board.
