The political polarity continues as the Democratic National Convention hosts its first two democratic presidential debates. In the conversation includes topics of abortion, LGBTQIAA+, universal healthcare, socialism, and so on. But, can the church get involved in such conversation without risked their 501(c)(3)s? Will speaking against abortion, for instance, be in violation of the Johnson Amendment in the IRS tax code? What about the separation of church and states?
