I want to talk to you about something that I’ve been thinking a lot about lately. A concept that I’m going to call “Know Your Bullet”. When you’re stepping into leadership and you want to go to the next level, you have to know your bullet. It might be difficult, it might hurt, but in order to step into your next level, you have to identify your bullets, those things in your life that keep you from doing what you truly want to do, and figure out how you are going to move past them. What’s your game plan? How are you going to reroute? How are you going to face the struggle and still continue to show up for your dream? I’m not saying we don’t all have to take a minute sometimes. Life throws us curveballs. But sometimes, we don’t show up for what we said we would show up for because we have our own bullet, something that we give more power than it deserves.
