In the last year of her masters, the idea for Sun'n'go was born, and in September 2020 the first field study was conducted in Malawi. In the following month they built their first prototype: a portable energy center which can be used in impoverished communities to light up the community's households and charge phones. These energy centers are sold through micro credit schemes. Running entirely on solar power, they are a green catalyst for economic development. In December 2020 Anaïs and her co-workers will be launching their first pilot project, and the second one should follow in February 2021. Anaïs is currently also a research assistant at the EssentialTech Center, and has just joined the UN'S NORCAP Accelerator Program. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/swisspreneur/message
