Hey Milk & Money Honeys! Today’s guest is Hayley Franklin, a real estate agent in Northwest Arkansas. She’s helping me break down the key steps to buying your first home, from doing your research ahead of time to negotiating an offer. Here is the drip: Before you talk to anyone, know what it is that you want in a home. I used Realtor.com and Zillow to do my homework ahead of time. Go speak to a lender and then get pre-approved. Make sure this number is something you’re comfortable with before going out to see homes. Once you have your pre-approval, start talking to a real estate agent and go see some homes in person. Once you find one you’re happy with, they can help you out with market research and negotiation.
