2020 is almost over, dear listeners, we made it. So we're kicking off the last week of the year, AKA No Monsters Week, with a badass Civil War veteran, William Carney. Not only did he survive one of the war's most brutal battles, he got some goddamn accolades for how he handled himself. His part in the war, and his whole unit's part really, had a ripple effect that played a role in the Union victory over the Confederacy. So we can thank him for our right to laugh at people who fly the rebel flag. Enjoy!
