In fact, it hadn’t happened since a 3-2 come from behind win under Ronal Koeman’s watch. There were a number of reasons Saints should not have won on Monday night, but none of them matter. The squad depth, the injuries, illnesses, and other calamities that reduced the squad to what it was, Hasenhuttl’s record against Klopp. But, none of those mattered. Saints took 3 points from the defending champions and current league leaders, shooting themselves to 6th in the table, and putting in a performance that brought the big man to tears. Joining me this week to discuss the match and address your questions is Prost International’s, Jacob Tanswell. Jacob is a longtime Saints fan and journalist and it was a real pleasure to have him on the show. Because of the Monday night fixture we spoke on two occasions.
