Darlene and Tanner Dame are the parents of 3 children with very different stories of how they have come into this world. As a first time mother, Darlene didn’t know what an amazing and traumatic impact that Ivory, her oldest, would have on her life. After a tumultuous birth, Ivory was born at 28 weeks. As a 2.14 lbs preemie, Ivory only lived for 5 days after getting a bacterial infection in her gut. Darlene candidly describes their days with Ivory and how those few days with her impacted their whole life.
