In this episode, I'm in conversation with Subodh Sankar to understand the mechanics of pursuing one's passion. He is the co-founder of Atta Galatta, a bookstore and event space in Bengaluru that's more than just a bookstore with books on the shelf, in his own words. Having taken the plunge into the passion economy after a corporate career, Subodh talks about the shift, fears and new perspectives that comes with it. Atta Galatta has been successfully running for over 11 years led by Subodh and his wife, a partnership that has its own nuances he interestingly talks about. A venture with a niche focus on Indian literature, we touch upon the nature of writing, the innate sense of Indian-ness among us and evolving with the times in this increasingly digital world.
