At 5 foot 8 Lou Pucillo was an unlikely basketball star. He was cut from his high school basketball team and the sport seemed like an unlikely dream. But he went to a prep school after graduation, continued playing and caught the eye of a college coach named Everett Case. Pucillo went on to be a 1st team All-American and ACC player of the year before playing professionally and coaching as well.
