This is another two part series, where we do a walking and talking tour through the distillery and then we have a second episode with a tasting.MKT distillery is named after the Missouri Kansas Texas Railroad whose historic tracks pass within 30 feet of the distillery. What’s unique about this operation is their connection to the rice. Katy, Texas was once the "Rice Capital of the South." MKT distillery honors this history by incorporating rice into its whiskey mash bills.
