This is a 3 part strategy which I use, and it works for me.  When an anxiety attack hits, here are the 3 simple steps I use to over-come them.  1.  Acknowledge & Accept      Accept that you are feeling anxiety, and that it's unpleasant.  Accept that it's OK, and it's natural.   Anxiety happens, and it's just your turn right now.  Don't pretend it's not happening, and accept that it is not a sign of weakness.  It's OK, to not be OK.  2.  BREATH.  Take 3, slow, deep breaths, without thinking about technique.         Then, place your hands over the top of your belly, and keep breathing, feeling your belly expand on the inhale.  Breath at least 5-8 more times like this.  3.  Find any line to trace with your eyes.  Roof tops, fence lines, the outline of a tree, outline of a cloud.   Trace the outline from right, to left, SLOWLY.  Deep Breathing all the time.      If you don't have access to an outdoor view, then pick any object in a room.  Try to find the joint where the wall and the ceiling meet, and start there.   Slowly trace the line from right to left.   Take your time, and continue deep breathing while you do it.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/tango-romeo/message
