We were lucky enough to meet Brendan when we interviewed Actress and Director Nicole G Leier and he agreed to come on the show. After traveling in Canada and New York we finally were able to sit down and chat. Brendan discusses his journey into cinematography, the skills that are a must to be successful, how to collaborate with a revolving door of directors for a series, while keeping the tone and look for the show consistent overall and protecting the work of the actors. He shares how he has adapted to and approached each project a bit differently and what it was like to take on a horror classic like Child’s Play and a horror icon like Chucky. Brendan shares so much knowledge about a side of production that is seldom heard from, minus an awards speech here and there. We were incredibly excited to sit down with Brendan and learn more about how Cinematographers approach their work and move from project to project, world to world.
