A court has ordered the Police force in Malawi to compensate 13 women and 3 youngs girls for the rape assault by members of the police force. The rape which was done in retaliation for a police personnel who died in the village was taken to court by the Women Lawyers Association of Mawawi. Ghanaian dancehall artist Stonebwoy is reported to have assaulted the manager of Sarkodie Angelo leading to him being admitted in a hospital. A picture of Angelo circulating social media shows him with one eye heavily covered with a plaster. The incident happened at a taping of a virtual concert organised by the leader of Sark Nation, rapper Sarkodie. According to eye witnesses and people who were there, Stonebwoy was unhappy with the special treatment of dancehall artist Shatta Wale. He felt disrespected by how he was treated compared to Shatta.
