How To Cut It in the Hairdressing Industry

Arts

I don't know about you, but I'm hearing lots of noise that theres a new shift taking place in mens hair trends. From mullets, tossled texture and 90's Revival, ask yourself: How technically prepared are you to cater for these new looks that men will be visiting us all for? To help shed more light on this is the Head of Education for progressive London's men’s grooming brand Manifesto, Rino Riccio. Coming from a family of hairdressers growing up in Italy, Rino's passion for hairdressing started aged 12 and after attending a live hairdressing competition with his father he realised hairdressing was the career for him. By the age of 16 he was winning major competitions in Italy, including nationwide men’s hairdressing awards. This grew his passion for men’s hairdressing. In his twenties he was introduced to the incredible world of session styling and developed a real passion for this type of hairdressing and the incredible buzz of working backstage at a fashion show. Rino is the natural fit for me to talk to when it comes to learning everything that's mens hair trends post-Lockdown 2021. He will be bringing to this episode all his wealth of experience and knowledge that he has gathered from the world of mens hairdressing and session. So if you're ready to up-skill on the latest mens hair trends then this podcast will help you on your way.
