Will Weaver, the head coach of the Sydney Kings in the NBL, joined the Wingspan Podcast to talk about his interesting journey to where he is today, his first season with the Kings, and much more. Weaver, who was formerly the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets NBA G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, and an assistant with Brooklyn, talked about his time with the Nets organization. The coach broke down expectations for the Nets heading into the 2020-21 season and his thoughts on Steve Nash being named the Nets head coach. Weaver gave our listeners an insight into what it was like coaching alongside Brett Brown, the former Philadelphia 76ers head coach, and Kenny Atkinson, former Nets head coach.
