In this, the debut episode, Joey, Vas, Peter, and I get together at a local cafe here in Chengdu, Sichuan to discuss what it's like to teach at a university in China. Since I've taught at four universities and studied at another here in China, and the other guys are veteran teachers as well, I feel like we're up to the task of letting you know what's up! In this episode, we touch on the goals/challenges of teaching, departmental/administrative organization, students' English levels, what classrooms look like on average, how we organize classes, and even more! This series will try to provide a fairly comprehensive picture on how teachers teach in China.
