In this episode of Kaversations I talk with my niece Maychee Mua about her journey as a Hmong mother whose oldest son has autism. She discusses her role as an advocate for her son and addresses some of the cultural barriers she has faced. Maychee also talks about her own work in policy-making and how important it is to provide assistance in breaking through the cultural barriers.
