As I look back on my flying career, I often think about some of the quotes I’ve heard along the way. Aviate, Navigate, Commumnicate, Monitor the freq. before you speak. Speed is life, altitude is insurance. And, I’ll never not be able to hear Martha King say “Please, stay out of the trees.” But, there’s one quote that seems to keep coming up time and time again. It’s written on the walls of flight schools, seen on plaques and awards, quoted in films, and used in just about every piece of learn to fly marketing material I’ve ever seen.And that’s because it’s so beautiful.
