This week Ashley and Brian breakdown the first episode of Taboo titled "Shovels and Keys"Questions: Who is the boy? Is there a ghost in the room? What happened in Africa? James Delaney, believed dead, returns to London to attend his father's funeral and to claim his inheritance; an inheritance that is worthless, other than a small piece of land on the west coast of America. The land is in a disputed area between Great Britain and the United States, who are at war. The East India Company had an agreement to buy the land from Delaney's half sister and her husband but Delaney knows the war is coming to an end, greatly increasing the value of the land, and rejects their offer.
