You've probably heard the phrase "it's not a sprint, it's a marathon." If you've heard it a lot, you've likely rolled your eyes at it because it's often not what you want to hear when you want results quickly and efficiently. But the truth is, anything worthwhile is worth working and waiting for. And there's no better metaphor than the marathon (well, maybe there is but that's what we're using here).
