When we colonize Mars, they will have an opportunity to create new and fun holiday traditions. On Earth we get the Christmas spirit of giving only 1 month a year. Isn't this backwards? What if the Mars Colonizers had the Christmas Spirit 11 months a year (Or however their calendar will work) and during the one month they get to be jerks to each other? The Mars Christmas....or Jerkmas will have a totally different spirit, but only to remember how happy everyone really is.
