Vogue Australia’s associate digital editor, Lucie Clark, chats to the founder and designer behind the eponymously named Australian pret-a-couture label, Lillian Khallouf. Since launching her first fashion label at the age of 19, Lillian has become the designer celebrity stylists turn to to dress their Australian A-list clients, as well as the name behind many a bride's dream wedding gown. More recently, Lillian has turned her hand to ready-to-wear, bringing her wealth of tailoring expertise to the ready-to-wear market. In this episode, Lillian discusses how she went from a teenager with big fashion dreams to one of Australia’s pret-a-couture success stories and why being optimistic and never giving up are key to succeeding in the tough business of fashion.  See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
