Black Real Estate Dialogue

Business

This episode with Dwayne Jordan of Yenom Holdings was inspiring! At age 18, he was determined to retire from his 9-5 by age 35. He used an FHA 203K loan to buy his first duplex and since then, Dwayne has scaled his portfolio to 24 units across 3 states with no debt. A turning point in his investment career was when a contractor who was working on his property took an interest in him and showed him the ropes of construction. After that experience, a fire was ignited in him.  In this episode we discuss owning the hood, his passion for construction, Air Bnb rentals and his upcoming documentary with Malik Yoba. Highlights It's important for us to invest in our communities. We need to start thinking about what the future could be in our community and not what it's like now. There is gold in the hood.  Whoever you're learning from is doing what you want to do, in the way you want to do it. Don't force growth, let your real estate portfolio grow over time. Don't feel rushed, take your time. Don't over leverage in order to scale up, make sure you know what you're doing How you can find him IG- @yenom_holdings_llc yenomholdingsllc.com Show Sponsor--  @mintinc_usa http://mintinc-usa.com/    Todd Capital Investing Courses- http://bit.ly/toddcapital The Rental Toolkit: Investing Resources- http://bit.ly/InvRes Ultimate DIY Credit Repair Guide- http://bit.ly/ultimatecred Buy your Black Real Estate Dialogue Tee- http://bit.ly/bredtee Join our email list- http://bit.ly/bredlist
