This weeks guest Amy Kenny is Yoga teacher at Marjory Stoneman Douglas where I was the Head Basketball Coach and we worked together for 4 years. Amy’s very passionate and educated about yoga and she would teach yoga to my players during the season. Ive always implemented yoga into my program to help my players recover from long work weeks, prevent injury and most importantly help with mental focus. Majority of our athletes are single sport athletes that play year round and on this episode Amy helps break down why and how Yoga can help your basketball players and your team mentally and physically. She’s an ex basketball player her self so she knows how to relate the yoga practice to the court.
