Gerald R. Ford was born on July 14, 1913 in Omaha, NE, and he was the 38th President of the United States. Born "Leslie King Jr," his mother remarried and "Junie" was adopted by his step father and he took the name Gerald Rudolph Ford Jr when he was 21 years old. Ford was a standout football player at the University of Michigan, and he even worked as a male model before enlisting in the US Navy during WW II.
