I sat down with my wife, Kelsey, and we opened up about some of the reasons we don't feel like adoption is the right choice for our family right now. We talked about a number of things, including lessons we've learned as an already mixed family, perfectionism, personal insecurities, and my own struggles with empathy and relationships.
