In episode #43 of Talk of Shame Podcast, Barry-John speaks with WWE legend and Hall of Famer, Jake 'The Snake' Roberts about his abusive and troublesome upbringing and some of his most famous moments in wrestling.Jake opens up about how he was sexually abused by his mother and finding out later in life that his father was sexually abused by his father. The wrestling legend's life has been littered with tragedy, abuse and struggle in one way pr another and Jake also speaks about his late sisters suspected kidnapping and murder.All of these tragic life events led Jake to a road of substance abuse where alcohol, pills and crack cocaine were his drugs of choice.In a remarkable life turn around, Jake has gotten himself totally clean with the help of his friend Diamond Dallas Page. Unfortunately Jake had to cut the interview short due to him experiencing breathing difficulties.
