Tune into this interview conducted with Empowerment Enthusiast Taneisha Anderson. Taneisha is an Atlanta, GA transplant and Grand Rapids, MI native. With checking off all the check boxes society states would bring happiness and fulfillment, she found herself unfulfilled and on the sofa of a therapist. The journey through therapy was a lonely one for Taneisha at that time, being that the stigma of mental health was strong and the conversations about mental wellness were nonexistent, especially within the African – American communities. After years into therapy, not only was Taneisha able to gain clarity around her perspective, decision style, and triggers, she also had a testimony that created a fire for to go back and pour into her community and circles. This is when Taneisha’s advocacy and platform as an Empowerment Enthusiast was birthed.
