Bollywood is among the many industries that have been strongly hit by the Covid-19 Pandemic. Many films have been delayed indefinitely and others have been launched online on OTT platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hotstar. In the coming months the new guidelines for shoots could fundamentally change how movies are made and look like. Independent movies with small budgets could also have a greater chance at being successful as they dont have to compete with high marketing budgets.
