Education

Today’s guest is John Pforr, St. Paul’s Class of 1956. John began his career selling spices for McCormick & Co. before spending the remainder of his career in the United States Secret Service, where he was assigned to protect presidents and presidential candidates. He also spent six weeks training the bodyguards of the King of Saudi Arabia. John is a loyal Crusader alumnus who has endowed an award given annually to a head J.V. or assistant varsity coach that recognizes their unsung commitments to our student-athletes.
