Episode 33 Season 2 is out with Eric Sim. Eric is currently pursuing a challenge called “95 mph or die”. His goal is to throw 95 mph twice in 1 session both have to be strikes off a mound. The prize is that Driveline will donate $5000 to Eric’s help a minor leaguer campaign. Eric was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 27th round of the 2010 MLB Draft from the University of South Florida. Before the University of South Florida, Eric played Junior College baseball at Colby Community College. Eric is very active on social media including Twitter and Instagram. He is very honest with the content he puts out and it can rub people the wrong way sometimes. Eric started training to train at the near that end of 2019 to get back in shape. He shows people that training is fun but you have to be consistent and love the overall process. Eric is trying to promote kids to work hard for something and not look for the easy way out. He is trying to be an example to kids in 2020 by showing kids that you can train anywhere in the world and still become great. Eric is a brutal honest person and is a must follow on social media about baseball and JUCO. If you want to see someone with a passion to get better everyday just look at Eric’s content. I really enjoyed talking with Eric about Junior College and why it can be a player’s best decision of their career to attend a JUCO. Please join me in listening to Eric and “Always Remember Be Yourself”.
