This week’s episode of Humdaddy History focuses on the little known (in America) efforts of an everyday hero named Vitold Piletzski (Witold Pilecki). This man fought for his entire adult life to try and achieve and keep Poland’s independence. He is also probably the only person in World War Two that volunteered to go to Auschwitz!
