Floaters are thread like particles or mini spots which usually apperas in our visual field. These floaters are usually age related process, they are formed when gel like vitreous present inside our eyes gets liqufied. If you are more than 60 years of age then you have 25% chance of developing these floaters, and if you are above the age of 80 then chances of developement of floaters increases to 66%.
