The Rap Addicts Podcast is at it again, this time with a different format. Mic and Jeff dive into the career of the hip hop legend Fat Joe. This guy is the definition of hip hop. Born in the South Bronx in the 1970's, Joe was there since the beginning and has been relevant ever since. There are not too many artist that span three decades but Joey is one of them.  Episode 1 talks about Joes start with the Diggin' In The Crates (D.I.T.C.) crew, his grahfitti days, and the steps leading up to his first hit single, "Flow Joe". They boys talk about his first album Represent, released in 1993, and how a chance studio session lead to Joe working with one of his idols, LL Cool J. Mic and Jeff wrap up Episode 1 with the story of how Joe met Big Pun, and talk about his 1995 release, Jealous Ones Envy.
