Fatherhood. Today, fatherhood is an evolving discussion due to changing gender roles and what it means to be men and women in roles and responsibilities. The things that we have been taught are often not aligned with what we were supposed to do when we are actually in those roles. What makes my practices as a father good and your practices bad? Who judges that? How can I be a father when 'the mother' won't let me be one? Why won't he step up and be a man and 'father' his child? These are some of the comments we keep hearing and have yet to answer and offer an alternative viewpoint.
