On this week’s episode we have former NFL defensive end Ryan Davis. On this episode we talk about what it was like for him growing up in Tampa, FL and how he first started playing sports. He talked about his love for basketball and how he didn’t think football would be apart of his future. We went on to discuss why he decided to give football a shot and how that led him to receive a full scholarship to play at Bethune - Cookman University. We also spoke about the challenges he faced early in his college career before eventually going on to have a stellar career. He went on to share what it was like to go undrafted and having to work his way up from the practice squad to a key contributor. Finally, he spoke about some of the challenges he faced in the NFL by not fully understanding the business and how that lack of knowledge impacted his career.
