"Is your sister, cousin, close friend going through cancer treatment?” When Koula, my sister was diagnosed with cancer, she was as young mom of 2. My family had to be strong to be able to help her get through it. Cancer affects the entire family and as caretakers we must be prepared emotionally to be this person’s rock when we feel as though we are slowly crumbling away.
