Episode 3 | Au Revoir France & 2016 Reviewed

Phil Metcalfe is once again joined by Jordan Clarke & Chris Metcalfe to discuss what many predicted would be the biggest Test of the year: All Blacks v Ireland in Dublin. Chris was there and talks about the occasion (0:49) then the lads discuss if the match reached their expectations (2:40) and recap the stunning defensive effort from the All Blacks (3:40). Ireland's inability to score a try is highlighted (5:09) before Chris raises the intelligent cynicism displayed by the All Blacks when under pressure (7:50). Phil Metcalfe & Jordan Clarke are joined by Chris Metcalfe to discuss where Ireland's historic win over the All Blacks in Chicago ranks amongst their greatest performances (1:11) and where the All Blacks underperformed (4:43). Then the lads recap how the Irish pulled the performance together (7:53) and why Chris never thought the All Blacks were out of the game despite a big Irish lead midway through the match (12:55). After that, the All Blacks depth is questioned (17:37) and Chris explains what’s so special about Ireland's Kiwi coach, Joe Schmidt (21:06), and if he will ever end up with the All Blacks (27:35).
