He and Dave discuss the idea of being funny, and the things one does throughout one's life to get good at being funny, before even making the decision to try stand-up. They also talk being afraid that you're not funny, and worrying at every moment that people will stop thinking you're funny or have never thought you were funny at all. Dave gives Garrick homework.
