Gavin Rollins is a Captain in the Florida National Guard, a Veteran of the Global War on Terrorism, an American history teacher and a conservative Clay County Commissioner.A resident of Clay County, Rollins earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture and was inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame. He earned a master’s degree in education at the University of West Florida.Rollins discussed his experience and views, as a Republican candidate running for the Florida District 3 U.S. House seat now held by the retiring Ted Yoho.
