The company is proposing a phased capacity up to 2.8 gigawatts to produce up to 10,000 tonnes per annum of green hydrogen for export to the Asia Pacific region. The project will start with a fleet of the company's pilot-scale 430t compressed hydrogen ships with plans to introduce its full-scale 2,000t ships as required to match future supply and demand. Financial close for the initial phase of the project is targeted for 2023 with first hydrogen export to begin in 2026.
