Having relationship with his people is the promise and desire of the Father’s heart, and the Holy Spirit, the presence of God living inside of us, is living proof of that promise. The Holy Spirit, by who he is and what he does, proves to us God’s faithfulness, his patience with us, his love and kindness for us and the way that he is absolutely for the good and the joy of those who love him. And only because of His faithfulness — to us to keep every single promise he makes, we have the privilege of being his people of faith.
